KECAK DANCE in Bali


Kecak dance is a dance depicting a monkey as hordes of troops of King Ravana.
This dance is performed by the number of participants in the tens or even hundreds of people to look so perfect.

TRUNYAN VILLAGE

OGOH OGOH in Bali


Ogoh-ogoh is a  holy culture in Bali. His presence became one complementary Nyepi ritual.

MASS KISSING DAY ( Omed –Omedan ) in Bali



Post-Nyepi day, there is a unique tradition that has always held youth of the village, Sesetan, Denpasar, namely omed-omedan or mass kiss between a boy and girl in the village as a form of happiness the day after SILENT DAY. Participants omed-omedan is community of people or youth ranging from ages 17 years to 30 years or who have an adult but not yet married.

In Bali-Indonesia Dictionary, omed-omedan means of attraction. PANDANUS WAR ( Perang Pandan ) in Bali
